Many states and cities are enforcing their ability to collect sales tax on e-commerce purchases. Not all customers are impacted though. In many states, groceries are exempt from taxes. Some states have a lower sales tax rate on groceries. However, even in exempt states, local cities or counties may charge a tax. We are required to collect the tax based on your shipping location, and will send any tax that we collect to the relevant jurisdiction.
We collect sales tax on boxes shipped to:
Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia.
